Positano

If there is one word I could use to describe Positano, it would be STAIRS!

On July 2nd, my classmates and I decided to take the Sita bus for €4 to and from Positano, a picturesque town less than 30 mins away from Sorrento! We decided to go later in the day due to the extremely hot weather and UV index that southern Italy has at this time of year. The goal of this trip was to explore a nearby city, take pictures, and get dinner!

Note: For anyone wanting to travel to southern Italy, I HIGHLY suggest that you do not stay in Positano. This city is a huge tourist spot where everything is extremely overpriced, and the number of stairs is incomparable to anywhere I have been in the United States. To get from central town, down to the beach, it was over 720 stairs (now just imagine that coming back up)!

Additionally, Positano is a place of pictures as there is a beautiful 360° view of hilltop houses, greenery, bright buildings, and a crystal-clear coastline! I am super glad that I decided to go to this city as it was a view I (and my legs) will never forget.

My favorite part of our trip was the bus ride from Sorrento to Positano as the views were breathtaking and worth the trip in itself. A close second is the amount of sea glass that could be found in the beaches! There were numerous little, colorful glass pieces rounded by the ocean just wanting to be made into beautiful jewelry!

Enjoy the pictures I took of Positano!
